(42,239 posts)tunnels to closed at 6pm local time and bridges to be closed as and when if wind exceeded 60 mph. According to our UK tv news the wind is currently c. 85mph.

That's how long it will take for NYC and the Island to run out of food after those bridges are shut down.
Perishable food will be gone in three.
