Cuomo has ordered the Tappan Zee Bridge closed

3:20 PM EDT: N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has ordered closed the Tappan Zee Bridge at 4 pm, the first span across the Hudson River to be closed due to high winds.

tunnels to closed at 6pm local time and bridges to be closed as and when if wind exceeded 60 mph. According to our UK tv news the wind is currently c. 85mph.

Five days.

That's how long it will take for NYC and the Island to run out of food after those bridges are shut down.

Perishable food will be gone in three.
