I hope the people who stayed make it through this.

I have a feeling they may rue the day they decided to ignore the evacuation announcements. The storm still has hurricane force winds and I would not want to be in a high rise. A low rise isn't any better because of the water.

I hope my imagination is just running amuk here, because I see impending doom and it is not comfortable.

I also believe our wonderful media has cried "wolf" so many times, that this now is the real deal and many people did not heed the warnings because of it.
