Scott Brown Pulls Out Of Final Debate, Citing Hurricane Sandy

http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/scott-brown-pulls-out-of-final-debate-citing

Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) is pulling out of the final debate in the Massachusetts Senate as a result of Hurricane Sandy, his campaign announced Monday. The debate was scheduled for Tuesday night.

"The Scott Brown campaign today announced that out of concern for the hardship faced by people in the path of Hurricane Sandy that he will not be participating in tomorrow's fourth and final debate," campaign spokesman Colin Reed said in a press release. "It is simply not appropriate to go forward with a political debate when a disaster strikes. The focus for all of us before, during and after the storm needs to be on emergency response and disaster relief, not campaigns and politics."

Joking, of course... wish he could call off the hurricane, or vortex, whatever she is now besides angry.

That God doesn't answer prayers?

Ol' Scootsie has been praying for this ever since Sandy was a sneeze off the west coast of Africa.

So I'm inclined to think it does.

My understanding is that Warren has a lead over Brown. Under the circumstances, he would seem to need the debate more than she does.

I am sitting right smack in the storm. The debate should be one, it could have been called Tuesday once we know what happens during the storm. My God, the wind was blowing like hell, now it is eerily quite. Power is still on.

While I feel for anybody affected by this storm it is important that Scotty shows up and doesn't duck like a coward.

Will he go visit his friends in the oil companies to make sure they are safe, or will he drive around in his prop truck for photo ops?

No, Scotty is a coward.

The Governor can take care of the state. That's his job.

Scotty is ducking the debate by using an excuse to make himself look important.

The storm would have blown past us by Tuesday afternoon. So far all we are getting is rain and high winds. We had two instances his summer which were as bad as what I see now.

Speaking of balls the local talking scrotum media was carrying the water for Scotty.

He's not the Governor. The governor can handle the storm.

Scotty is a coward.

He's afraid of a Warren spanking in another blistering debate.
