Nine hundred and forty millibars is unprecedented in the US Northeast

You are probably feeling it, even if you don't recognize it. Your pets surely are aware of it.

Good News and Bad News Department:

Bad: The storm is gaining strength even now.

Good: Its forward speed has just about doubled and is continuing to gain forward speed.

I wish EVERYONE a safe outcome. Look out for your neighbors.

966 is the lowest I've personally been able to record. We received the most precipitation I've experienced living here in my 21 years. Not saying much, but the winds blew some of the cement roof tiles clean off the house. 940 seems consistent with a lot more moisture.

Get to a safe place free from flooding and be safe!
