People were around when it happened, and the police had to get people off of the beach. High tide is expected in two hours. The most of city of Long Beach is expected to food.

It was just shoveled up in advance of the storm to try and keep water from coming under the boardwalk. There will be flooding. I hoping it's not the whole town.

or what's left of the dunes, I nearly begged him to leave. He's already lost power.

Really serves no purpose other than giving people something to do. Its like taping up windows.

before they moved to Florida. They've long since passed, but I can recall visits to see them at their place when I was around 6 y.o.
