of a century-old apartment. i know he won't be flooded, and he won't be hit by a tree, i just hope his windows hold. do you still have electricity?

But I live right near SamandJanetEvening (of Sunday LOLcats fame) and he lost his an hour ago. Plus I'm in the 'burbs.

And our lights keep flickering!

and it haunts you for a long time after the storm.
Months after the last hurricane I went thru, I would get very anxious whenever we had any wind blowing.
