A building has collapsed at 8th Ave and 14th Street in Manhattan, according to FDNY and other sources.

It is a multiple-dwelling building and people may be trapped inside.

5. I was in NYC once when a building facade crashed to the ground. NYPD blocked off streets and

rerouted people. No one died.

2. It looks like a four-story building, and it hasn't exactly collapsed, per the photo.

From the photo it looks like the front facade fell off, leaving the rooms inside exposed. It doesn't look like a very big building. Definitely not a skyscraper or anything like that.
