Local weather reporting that NWS has officially said Sandy is now post tropical

In view of this, they may never give the location of landfall since that data is immaterial to a mid latitude storm.

The storm is still VERY dangerous and will be around for a while, but it has morphed. There is now a blizzard raging in the Appalachians.

For what its worth, if they were reporting landfall, it would be at Barnegat Inlet, well north of Atlantic City.
