professional manner. He is reaching back to Jeb Bush and everybody in cyber space instead of acknowledging the President. Tweety asked him what did he think of Christie praising the President's handling of the situation. Chuckie stutters and spouts and now is giving credit to the Romney campaign for suspending their events. He is a classic a**.

(1,214 posts)He said something like, "I know you can provide a different perspective to this....." before he started talking about POTUS. Is that an acknowledgement that Toad is a republican?

(6,960 posts)His experience in the real world of campaigns is very, very little.
He worked on some initiative campaigns when he was young and he was a press person for Tom Harkins' presidential nomination quest in 1992... that's it.
The reason he is so shallow is because he is shallow on genuine campaign and elections experience.
But, he must be one of the great brown-nosers of all time since with that thin resumé he is NBC's director of elections.
Frankly, I use the mute button when Chuck comes on.

(1,235 posts)Back in 2008 Todd was doing a report on what the Republicans needed to do to win the election and he slipped up when he was supposed to say "they need to" referring to Republicans and said "we need to"
He lost all credibility with me that day.
I remember people talking about it here when it happened
