Why do news organizations insist on putting hapless reporters right in the paths of storms like Sandy, when residents themselves have evacuated in order to escape the danger? One of these reporters is going to get washed away right before our horrified eyes one of these days! There is just no need for this. We get that the storm is powerful and dangerous; why the sensationalism?
