New York authorities confirm that a man has been killed by a falling tree.

BE CAREFUL FOLKS. I was in hurricane Juan and huge old trees were uprooted left right and centre. When trees get uprooted like that the whole crown crushes whatever is under it.

2. The weather channel is saying a guy died in Maryland too, via auto accident.

I presume they considered it storm related, though they did say it was an auto incident. Maybe flooding, I understand that most storm deaths come from car drownings.
