I can feel all of this massive caving in of the city! Even thought I don't live there anymore NYC is like an organism and this is the worst kind of attack on it's intestines!

Well the Mayans did warn

Up to a few months of leaving the city to move to Boston I was preoccupied with the thought of how vulnerable the city was to any kind of major natural disaster.

Not good. The recovery period in NYC and Philly is going to be a very long one, I'm afraid.
