Seems that NYU Hospital is being evacuated due to its generators failing. So that's not so good. Seems like a lot of flooding taking place -- as you said, not everywhere, but enough to cause major problems. Please stay in and stay safe. Hopefully this thing will start moving out of here soon.

Please stay inside until the water recedes. Don't get electrocuted, injured or poisoned.

Please.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bellevue is running out of oxygen, they are scrambling for backup generator.

NYU is being evacuated

They are still trying to reach Conney Isand.

MTA tunnels are flooded

It's not pretty.

it will bring out snakes and other vermin. While I don't suspect there are many poisonous snakes in your area, others may need to be concerned.

Train line from Wall St-Brooklyn under the East river is taking on water, NYU Medical lost their generator and they are manually evacuating a few hundred patients, Bellevue generators out of fuel, and the National Guard is trying to hand carry fuel so they don't have to evac as well. Photos of cars completely submerged all the way from the financial district to canal st. Water pouring in at 34th from the Hudson and 14th from the East river - on top of Battery from the harbor.

It is an uholy mess out there. Please stay safe.
