For the rest of us yes. He simply is not a normal person. He knows not what we live with, what we put up with and think it is the way it is. For people like him they have any and everything they want, we don't.

for at least a couple of days while people affected by the storm begin to recover.

I'm not the least bit surprised by Rmoney's actions though, he'll do anything if he thinks it will get him votes. I think it's going to backfire on him, though. Obama is handling the crisis very well, and looking very Presidential, and Rmoney looks like the ass that he is.

and like many things at DU, hyperbole. It's the same thing with "vile", folks just seem to love to use these kinds of descriptions for just about everything they don't like or agree with.

But you take umbrage with what you refer to as hyperbole? Really? It is not just morally repugnant or vile to campaign at a time like this, it is ABSOLUTELY MORALLY REPUGNANT AND VILE. Go pound sand quinnox.

...because yesterday, Romney announced on KCCI TV in Des Moines, that Mitt and Ann Romney would host a "Victory Rally!" Tuesday in Des Moines. Seriously, they called it that.

Today, mitt announced that he is canceling campaign activities for Tuesday--So he cancels the Des Moines event.

Just now, I read that Ann will be in Des Moines, but Mitt will be in Ohio on Tuesday.

Isn't that interesting? Set aside the fact that Mitt said he would stop campaigning.

I find it interesting that he kept campaigning, but snubbed Des Moines for Ohio.

I think he decided that he would capitalize on Sandy by turning his campaign event into a fundraiser. I bet he figured that this publicity stunt would get him the most mileage in Ohio.

Thoughts anyone??

Since zombies go after brains, Mitt and his supporters would be the only people left after such an event. He would win the election by default.

Election day is soon and there is nothing intrinsically indecent about running for office.

The problem is that everything he does is reprehensible by his nature.
