..Ohio and the rest of our states, but I also think the people of the entire nation are counting on Ohio because my guess is, my guess is if Ohio votes me in as President, I'll be the next president of the United States."

This quote is so Romney: Another crisis and another awkward, weird, self-aggrandizing reaction from Uncanny Valley Mitt.

via Bob Cesna on twitter

Romney's remarks on the storm came at the end of his stump speech here this morning, and are indicative of the delicate balance the GOP challenger must maintain between keeping up a campaign predicated in no small part on criticizing the record of President Barack Obama, and not looking opportunistic or unconcerned about the impact of a potentially devastating weather event affecting a large portion of the country.

Absent from Romney's remarks this morning was his now traditional attack on Obama for running a "small" campaign, focusing instead primarily on his own day-one agenda and five-point plan, along with a promise to work across the aisle should he be elected.

"I am going to reach across the aisle and work with Democrats. I’m going to find common ground. We have to find a way to work with people in the opposition party," Romney said. "Democrats love America. Republicans love America. We can come together."

As Romney spoke, his campaign announced it was canceling a planned event tonight in Wisconsin, and tomorrow's scheduled events in Ohio and Iowa. The campaign also cancelled events in Florida for Romney's running mate Paul Ryan, and said the campaign schedule remains in flux.

at least that means they don't have the theft lined up yet!

More your theory, chaos, and Mitt looking totally irrelevant.

Can anyone, even a Republican, imagine him heading up an effort like this?

And Ann Romney falling apart right there, because as she said he constantly looks to her for security.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Man, that dude is toxic. That FEMA bullshit should ruin him. Cuz God knows that the comments blasting 47% of Americans (including seniors, the military, disabled, and veterans,) and his omission of the troops in his acceptance speech then saying they weren't important, and his missing tax returns, etc. etc. etc. didn't do it (for some reason.) His FEMA nonsense should sink his campaign

I feel like I'm watching a bad movie, he is a caricature of himself, a caricature of a caricature, either oblivious or uncaring of his appearance. He really is an alien.

Why did the Republicans let this happen?
Why?
Why?
Why?

Are they really this far down a bad path?
Is that apple truly rotted through and through?

I never cared about Limbaugh one way or another,
I listened once in awhile,
sometimes he was funny
but now he nauseates me
and I can't be alone, look his ratings,
look at how the mood galvanized against him this year.

What the fuck is wrong with Romney?
The man is SIXTY-FIVE.

I feel like I'm watching a retarded kid,
there's something so profoundly broken inside of him.

If Rmoney was in charge, New York and New Jersey would have to take care of themselves. And DC? Good luck with that. Fortunately, we still have FEMA as well as Red Cross, national as well as regional assistance, public AND private sources to help. Go back to counting your money, Mitt, and leave running the country to the grown-ups.

mittens is saying "democrats love america" - yes, most democrats love our country and want healthy communities and care about the well being of ALL americans--"republicans love america" yes most of today's wacko repugs care more of the thought of their brand of amerikka, are more interested how much profit they can make by selling it off to any and all foreign, domestic greedheads; are waiting breathlessly to privatize any and all government agencies so their friends can make more profit off the backs of americans (while further screwing other americans who can no longer afford to pay for services because of his greedy trickle on friends) and would gladly wage another war to feed even more money to his profiteering friends. oh, and they care about americans so much, his corporate friends have no problem sending jobs overseas, so that they won't be exploiting the american people.

and he cares about americans so much that he wants to deregulate even more, so that his friends can con, poison and basically rip off those he says he cares so much about. I believe he really loves the concept of his commercial brand of amerikka.
