Mindset of hatred:
WASHINGTON ― Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called the leak of a draft opinion overturning Roe. v Wade a stunning breach and an attack on the Supreme Court.
By every indication, this was yet another escalation in the radical lefts ongoing campaign to bully and intimidate federal judges and substitute mob rule for the rule of law, McConnell said Tuesday morning in a prepared statement.

The consensus seems to be forming that the leak came from the conservative side.

(11,885 posts)He would do like he and the GOP did with TFG after he got impeached, make excuses to ignore the rule of law. If it turns out to be a woman clerk, and a jury trial is used, what women member of the jury would convict her, zero. McConnel stole President Obama's pick from him, so he should just shut up. He and TFG has helped create this attack of women's right's , which will expand to many others issues, and many other groups.

(111,110 posts)...and that they had a mob ready to swarm the Justice Building and ransack all the offices and spread feces on the walls?
Is that true, Mitch?
Is the Court more important to you than the Congress? And you want to be a Leader in the US Senate?

(5,724 posts)Are there alot of liberals rifling through documents in the offices of the conservative justices?
Was security alerted afterwards?
Was Their IT dept. able to trace who maybe hacked the document?
So many questions to answer
on their end.

(14,176 posts)They should just say that he made a claim devoid of evidence, but what's going to stick is the idea that a liberal attacked the Supreme Court.
We know McConnell is horrible, but the press isn't obligated to give him cover.

(22,920 posts)In responding to a reporter's question about the draft re: abortion rights, McConnell deflected and repeated the line about it being an attack, but I swear I heard him say "an attack on the Senate" -- not SCOTUS. I think that's equally telling.

(19,140 posts)The leak is a big nothing burger, it's meaningless. The right is just trying to distract from the disaster of the decision for them politically and for women's rights in the US.

He doesn't maintain iron fist control of DC by being nice.
