(55,960 posts)if they are put into service of another contrary to their will, if there are things they must do and things they cannot do that they have no say in, if their situation cannot be transferred or assigned to another, then legally they are chattel.
Whatever the court says about the penumbra of privacy, anti-choice laws are a form of slavery or indentured servitude and a violation of the 13th amendment.

(19,976 posts)It's just a minority in the mid to low 20% who think they have a right to rule over others bodies. The rest have opinions but aren't rabid about them by majority.
Which is what makes this so very messed up. It's a minority rule and not democracy.
