Wall Street flooded? Big deal. Move the exchange, or take it online - most of the trading is high-frequency machine trading anyway, so why maintain a financial Disneyland for tourists?

Power out? So what? Buy another bank of diesel generators for your estate.

Subways flooded? Tough. You travel by helicopter anyway.

Sea level rise a problem ? Who cares? Move slightly inland. Better yet, get Uncle Sugar to build higher sea walls and truck in sand to protect your Galt ass.

I would start throwing my venture capital pin money at anything that would protect infrastructure from sea water.

Every coastal town is going to be looking into beefing up the sea walls.

A smart patootie would see a fortune in climate change opportunity.

Did you think our exchange is the only one? Did you think they only have homes in this country? They're in their Dubai apartments this week trading on-line through whatever other exchanges are open - London, Japan, etc ...

This is not just a problem in the US. Take a look at Greece. There are a group of folks in this country with an amazing amount of capital and their day to day lives look nothing like our own.
