Where will the money come from for the corporations to do the work?

Government contracts. All these morons complaining that the government shouldn't pay for this stuff and we should leave it to the corporations don't realize that someone has to pay the corporations to do the actual work, which will come from government contracts.

The only difference is, if we farm it out to the private sector, some of our tax money, given to private corporations in the form of government contracts, will go to line someone's pockets in the form of 'profits'. Id rather see the government implement the work directly and use the money that would otherwise go to line people's pockets to help fix the problems. Without having to pay useless middlemen 'profit' (as if profit should even be considered during a disaster!). it will cost the taxpayers less.

Why don't people understand this?
