"a disaster relief event where Gov. Romney may make brief remarks."

Romney Keeps Ohio Stop, Focuses On Storm Victims

KETTERING, Ohio - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is going ahead with a planned stop in the Dayton area, but the campaign says the focus will be on helping victims of Superstorm Sandy.

The Tuesday event at Fairmont High School in Kettering is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.

A Romney spokeswoman said the event will be "a disaster relief event where Gov. Romney may make brief remarks." Another Romney event in Lima Tuesday has been canceled.

Romney and President Barack Obama had canceled campaign stops Monday as Sandy bore down on the U.S. coast. It brought devastating damage and millions of power outages to a large swath of the northeast, including parts of eastern Ohio.

trying to appear to be something he isn't...and pretending to be important when he isn't.

It is really pathetic.

2500!

No rock concert, pig pickin', free beer, motorcycle club convention to piggie back on this time.

2500 people.

at an event here in Davenport. It was a relatively small area because of safety and logistical concerns and there were around 4000. At 10:00 a.m. And it was a friendly crowd. Young, old, black, white, Asian, likely gays, all sorts of people. In the pics I saw of the romney event, it was all caucasian.

Big difference between 2500 and 4000 as is the wonderful diversity that cheers our POTUS!

Things are worse up along Lake Erie from what I've heard with some flooding, wind damage and power outages. Minor power outages and some wind damage here in Columbus. We've seen a lot worse.
