Remember McCain during the financial crisis?

He was actually tied or up in the polls until that "disaster" happened. Then he canceled his campaign and went back to Washington to "lead" the effort to save our country from the fallout of the disaster.

But, in the process, he looked incompetent and Obama looked like the leader. Many believe that the election turned around at that point?

Now, we have Mitt Romney in a similar situation with a different "disaster". I think he is treading on shaky ground. If he comes across like McCain in his attempt to show he is "leading" the country in this dire time, it could swing the entire election to Obama. A very dangerous time for the Romney campaign, in my opinion. Because he cannot defeat Obama when it comes to "leadership".

for an impromptu public appearance, wherein rMoney may speak unscripted, and we all know where that leads. He will undoubtedly offend someone! Or reveal his true thoughts about FEMA!

that you won't hear a single unscripted word from Rmoney between now and the election. Their side wouldn't chance it given how badly he screws things up every time he opens his mouth and ad libs.

That's what McCain said just a few days before the crash. That is what made him look incompetent. By his own words, he showed us that he had no fucking idea what was going on with the economy.
