Heart breaking for all people in the affected areas.

(47,675 posts)All of those wires are underground and the modem and router are on a UPS. I should be fine in that department, but might have to forgo it to deal with other problems. I hate hurricanes. They get my tighty-whities in a bunch.

(47,675 posts)... we're too high up to get flooded, but the streets flood out because the storm drains can't handle the volume. I'm on about the highest elevation in the neighborhood so I've personally never had a problem.
