Anyone can vote in the Democratic Primary who did not vote in the March 1 Republican primary.
It is very important to get Mike Collier on the November ballot; he came close to winning in 2018 and will be a formidable ally for Beto. At this point it is hard to predict if State Leg and Congressional candidates will coat-tail in November; more on that after the runoffs are over. (I was livid when the 3rd candidate entered the race at the very last minute)
Joe Jaworski (grandson of Watergate Special Prosecutor Leon Jaworski is on the AG runoff.
Jay Kleberg is running to replace George P Bush as Land Commissioner. He has a long list of endorsements from Beto O'Rourke, most of our large newspapers, other elected officials, and several well known groups. He is new to me but his literature promotes his support of natural disaster response, public schools and veterans, Energy grid/climate change & reducing emissions.
Low turnout in runoff elections can have disastrous results. Case in Point: 2012 and #CancunCruz
Enough voters sat that one out that Cruz was able to squeak out a victory - maybe 5% of 15% total turnout.
Turn out for this critical runoff!
