Paxton's bogus legal opinion on gender affirming care being the same as child abuse and Abbott's order that agencies need to prosecute parents and doctors providing gender affirming care has hurt trans youth. Paxton and Abbott are both disgusting people who have hurt children who need care.
I am glad for this court ruling

The Childrens Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, must offer gender-affirming care to transgender youth both existing and new patients after a Dallas County judge issued a two-week temporary restraining order against the hospital.
Judge Melissa Bellans order, issued Thursday, halts the hospitals decision to stop providing certain gender-affirming treatments to new patients, while the matter is discussed in court.
I feel immense relief that I can now continue to do good for my patients and provide them with the health care they so desperately need and that medical science recognizes as valid, Dr. Ximena Lopez told The Dallas Morning News on Thursday.
Lopez, who led a program for trans youth run by Childrens Health and UT Southwestern, sued her employers in March, after the hospitals began referring new patients to outside providers, and scrubbed any reference to the program named Genecis from their websites.

I would feel better knowing whoever thought denying a child medical care was a good idea would spend eternity there.
