No, and certainly not in Detroit.

or is it that few African Americans are photographed or few of the photographs with African Americans are published.

African American women are disproportionately impacted by abortion bans and, I know in my city, one of the most active abortion support organization was started by and is run by AA women.

My guess is that a general media bias in what photos they publish is what you are seeing more than a lack of representation at the rally.

I noticed also that there are few African Americans marching. Detroit is mostly African American - over 75% if I remember correctly. I don't think the Freep (Detroit's more liberal newspaper) would only have pictures of white people.

I'm a little perplexed at why there aren't more black people also.

i wonder how many of those protestors could be protesting at their own universities, like the other tens of thousands of protesters going to the 87+ universities supporting anti-abortion crap from 260+ xlimbaugh stations the last 30 years, helping republicans pack the court with religious nuts.
