He gets a lot of campaign cash from Russia, as well as the jr senator from KY.

February 14, 2021..Trump "..morally responsible for Capital Riot"..voted no to impeach
February 26, 2021..said he would support Trump if he was 2024 candidate
May 15..good Ukraine, good NATO..bad Russia...should we start the "bad Ukraine, bad NATO, good Russia" countdown now or wait until he returns?…

Maybe Mitch could have a little sit-down with Rand Paul while he's still in the moment

This is not the Moscow Mitch we all know and loath.
Is he just trying to redirect away from the Republican effort to strip all American woman of reproductive rights?
Showing concern for Ukrainians is simply not consistent with his lack of concern for anyone who can't benefit him politically or economically.

7. Oh come on, think about where those billions of defense dollars will be spent!

Mitch is just being a good Republican, transferring our tax money to defense contractors. I am happy that the Ukrainians are going to get the help that they need, but lets don't think that McConnell is doing it because it is the right thing to do...

4. I hope that Zelensky was able to wash his hands quickly after the photo.

He actually had the same kind of look on his face as I did when pulling a child's toy out of the toilet. It is a nasty job, but somebody had to do it. It shows how much Zelensky is willing to sacrifice to save his country.

could get some help here .... I feel for the people of Ukraine, but wow these billions of dollars worth of packages flying out of here almost weekly. I'm not struggling as badly as some of my friends who are seniors like myself, but if this keeps up I'll be in their shoes eventually.

"I can help you out, Zelenskyy, but first, I need you to do me a favor. I'll need a photo op in the war zone, a picture of you shaking my hand, and a short statement thanking me for saving your democracy."

As much as I deplore him, I’ll accept his seeming agreement regarding aid to Ukraine, but it’s nothing more than showmanship. He honestly does not have a sincere bone in his wretched body. He’s only out to secure his spot as being “bipartisan” before the next election and I accept it with skepticism.

that he really doesn't care about Ukraine keeping a democracy.

You can also tell by Zelensky's eyes, he knows he's being bullshitted.
