Craig Huey is an extremist Tea Party local businessman who is running in the newly formed California Assembly District 66. AD 66 is the remnants of the former Democrat Safe AD 53. The holder of the AD 53 seat chose not to run in the newly formed AD 66 because of the slim margin between voter registration in the area. Torrance School Board member Al Muratsuchi is the democrat running against Huey for the AD 66. I just wanted to take a moment to stump for Al. I have worked with him in my role as local teachers union president, and I know that Muratsuchi knows first hand the stark budgetary issues facing education and other general fund programs in our state. He too is a public employee and member of a union. Craig Huey is trying to buy his way into Sacramento after his failed attempt at buying his way into Washington, DC. I can only hope that Democrats in our newly formed AD 66 will GOTV for Al Muratsuchi for California Assembly. And I hope not to spew my oatmeal at the screen anymore when I see the ironic Tea Party Ad at the top of my DU homepage.

(20,851 posts)I can't believe there is a single voter that looks forward to the 5-10 fliers sitting in there mailbox every single day. This man is crying for psychological help, not political office. Either way just the constant bombardment of road signs, mailers and stupid internet ads has me so sick of Craig Huey, I can't wait to vote against him. If ever a candidate wore out his welcome with nagging useless political saturation of the market place, it is Craig Huey. Voters need to tell politicians there's a difference between informing the voters and propaganda, smearing and pointless printing of just vanity crap that fills our mailboxes. I get it Craig Huey, you are rich enough to run for office without knowing anything, about anything. That's great, now stick your 100+ mailers I've received up your ass.

(6,336 posts)That way his campaign gives $$ to DU. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but usually the website gets a flat fee per click from the ads.

(4,220 posts)totally the man for the job. Baby Huey is a scumbag's scumbag who ran for Congress last year and lost!!! I live in Redondo Beach and I can tell by the people who have Huey signs on their lawns in my neighborhood that he is a douchbag. You see his signs all over the place, but always in PUBLIC AREAS, not that many on private property. We actually should hire the "sign planters" he is using because they got them all over the place effectively...LOL
Anyway, if anyone in the AD 66 is reading this, make SURE you vote in this important race. Anyone not should try to use this link to help Al win by donating a dollar or two, its from the last email I got from him, I wish I had a better link to post but...
Lets keep Baby Huey in his crib!!!
BTW, I am out of the country and applied for, received, filled and mailed (with 2 stamps just in case) my absentee ballot in 2 weeks ago so I have already had the pleasure of voting for Al and of course Our President!!!!

(3 posts)when you google Al Muratsuchi, huey pops up first. he is in marketing afterall
His super saturation of the market place is the most annoying campaign I have ever experienced. Every day there is 5-10 Criag Huey letters in my mailbox. I am so sick of him, I have moved from hoping he loses to hoping he gets humiliated.

(3 posts)i can tell you most of palos verdes thinks he is wonderful. these are people who think they know him, but do not. huey says simplistic common sense things like his signs say, more jobs, cut spending! how novel. if he cares about creating jobs, why did he buy 2 new expensive mersades? he is truly evil, the devils own son. i can only be thankful he did not make it into a national office.
