4. We saw it sail into Door County Wisconsin a few years ago.

My kids had a blast watching it sail into port. We have very fond memories of that day. It is sad to see it going under like that.

11. Large ships can actually be safer at sea than in port during a hurricane.

That is why the US Navy sent several ships to sea ahead of the storm.

A wooden ship can literally be beaten into splinters in port during a hurricane. The captain made an ill-fated decision to launch into the hurricane.

Claudene Christian, 42 was the lead mutineer's great-great-great-great-great granddaughter, Also missing and presumed lost is the captain of the ship. Just very eerie, she and the captain were the only one's lost.
