More Romney lies piss off GM and Chrysler. Now both say enough of this shit and fire back!

Romney implies GM used U.S. aid to create jobs in China

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has broadened his attack on President Barack Obama’s auto industry restructuring, implying that General Motors used the aid to hire more workers in China than the U.S.

“Barack Obama says he saved the auto industry. But for who? Ohio or China?” says the narrator in a radio spot running in Ohio. “Under President Obama, GM cut 15,000 American jobs, but they are planning to double the number of cars built in China, which means 15,000 more jobs for China. And now comes word that Chrysler plans to start making Jeeps in, you guessed it, China.”

GM quickly defended its performance.

“We've clearly entered some parallel universe during these last few days,” GM spokesman Greg Martin said. “No amount of campaign politics at its cynical worst will diminish our record of creating jobs in the U.S. and repatriating profits back to this country.”

Separately, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne used an email to employees today to refute the implication in a Romney television ad that Chrysler may move all Jeep production from the U.S. to China.

“Jeep production will not be moved from the United States to China,” Marchionne stated in the email. “The numbers tell the story,” followed by specific investments Chrysler has made at its plants in Detroit, Toledo and Belvidere, Ill. “Those include more than $1.7 billion to produce the successor of the Jeep Liberty and hire about 1,100 workers on a second shift by 2013.”

That hurts their image and reputation. It makes them look like the much hated job outsources when they aren't outsourcing at all.

It's just like that soup kitchen that Lyin' Ryan went to. These two shitheads do whatever they want to do to try and "win" and they have no care who gets destroyed in the process - as long as they get what they want. Assholes!

This could end up the same, people really don't want to buy the 'made to sell' goods that come from China, that often are defective out of the box. They don't want to be dependent on parts from abroad for their vehicles any more than necessary.

Obama has been fighting to keep parts jobs here. I wouldn't want to make a major investment like a vehicle and not be able to get parts to repair it, or count on the manufacturer to honor the warranties from abroad with different laws, etc.

The MittWit may attempt to deny the fact that his class (the Ruling Class) has been waging war on the Working Class even though ALL his wealth has been extracted from the labors of others and his obliteration of jobs in the U.S. ... but the only Working Class he's declared a truce with are those in China, Inc. That truce will be over as soon as they attempt to escape their Labor Camps or gain a decent wage with reasonable hours.

This is the only 'war' the MittWit will participate in ... as long as he's NEVER on the front line.

When I first thought about starting this reply I was going to point out that the Obama campaign was right when it said that Mitt Romney needs to debate himself before he debates President Obama. First, Romney took credit for the success of the American car industry by claiming it was his idea to push the companies into bankruptcy and when President Obama did that the companies flourished. Now, he puts out an ad that claims President Obama forced the companies into bankruptcy and now that is forcing Jeep to build cars in China. That and other things Romney has said can make one wonder if there is something wrong with Mitt Romney.

However, as I thought about the post I realized there was nothing wrong with Mitt Romney. He is just willing to say and do anything to win the Presidential election. Romney realizes his desire to push American car companies into bankruptcy is not popular in Ohio. He is now hoping that he can convince at least a few people in Ohio that it was President Obama who supported bankruptcy for the American auto industry.

So many people have been lied to for so long & have actually been in denial OF REAL truth, that they simply don't care about truth anymore!!!

I keep hearing that RobberMe will likely win the popular vote, but not likely to win electoral vote. How is this even possible?? Yes, Gore did win popular vote, but in the end if I recall correctly, it WAS proven that Gore also won electoral votes too. It took about 2 years to figure this out though!!

This AM on Scarborough they said Romney was way ahead with Ind., & I'm still scratching my head! I rarely watch him, my husband does & I walked by when they stated this. Since I have Current I always watch Stephanie Miller, which is of course a Liberal program. I can't take listening to so much namby-pamby MSM for very long.

This country has gone so far down a rat hole that I don't know how people like Rob/RY have even gotten so far.

I'm still not sure what is what. I check Nate Silver & it generally looks good, but what do I know???
