Wondering if he updated that from this morning's presser where he said something about 4 or 5 days.

I missed the beginning of this one.

I see it's a 7 to 10 day estimate for PATH but I don't see anything about the MTA..

but there is an awful lot of salt water in the subway system and they don't know how long that will take to drain.

Taxis are running and the buses will run a weekend schedule starting tonight.

Yeah, I am glad they were able to get the trains somewhere safe.

I guess they just don't know enough for a real estimate at this point, which makes me wonder if it could be a lot longer than the 4 or 5 days he said this AM.

I really hope it is within a week. I can't fathom how disruptive this will be for the millions of people who rely on the subway to get to jobs.

What a mess. And to think, that's just one aspect of one area of this storm's impact...
