I think I made an OP about it a week or so ago.

But here it is.

Biden had to appoint a Republican to one of the open seats, by law.

He chose Derek Kan, who previously had worked for Moscow Mitch, and for Mrs. Mitch Elaine Chao, too, as well as GOP Finance Committee.

What do you think the chances are that Mr. Kan is going to vote to fire DeJoy?

I do not know why THAT PARTICULAR Republican was chosen for this job. Mid-term ballots are coming along soon.

This was a gift to Mitch to get these and other nominations through the Senate. Hope it included Supreme Court appointments up through the end of Biden's terms.

The Postal Service is every bit and more political than it ever was in olden days when the president's campaign manager was usually appointed Postmaster General. It's just appears to be political spoils by committee now. Maybe even a Byzantine system in reality.
