Well, how about you growing a set of balls and shut the hell up! She was born in Wisconsin, moved to Alabama and then moved to Georgia, where she has lived most of life. She is more than qualified to be governor no matter where she is from! Your dog whistle just doesnt cut it in the real world. She is a Yale graduate and you are a chicken farm owner(implying this to his followers)! So, now since youre going to lose your bid for governor? You can go feed your chickens all of your nonsense garbage to them! Because youre a loser!

(14,061 posts)Abrams at a campaign rally cited statistics about how low Georgia ranks on a lot of quality of life factors like maternal mortality, mental health assistance, etc. Perdue on a talk show hosted by PETER NAVARRO of all people took that and twisted it totally out of context, making it sound like this was Abrams opinions only, and implied that African-Americans had it pretty good in Georgia. If Abrams didnt agree, well, she was free to go back to where she came from.
Way Too Early with Jonathan Lemire had the clips. I havent heard Perdue speak much, but he gave me the vibe of being an unapologetic racist. I understand hes trailing Kemp badly, so I hope that holds.
In a perfect world these dimwits would be hoisted on their own petards with all the shit they say thats easily fact-checked. And dont get me started on ignorant voters.

Abrams: I am tired of hearing about being the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live.

(129,317 posts)Perdue was "losing to" Kemp in the primary (in polls I guess although I know early voting was underway and I think today is election day there), so apparently he needed to get some free "media attention to appeal to the KKK loons.

(45,494 posts)as an American born and raised US citizen I know for a fact they don't give a shit where I was born and raised and hold citizenship. I'm stealing jobs simply because I'm brown and they feel whites should have these jobs.
Even if it's the old Southern "you're not from around here" as in she's not from Georgia. That state is full of transplants from elsewhere in America who are legally registered to vote. Hoping for good turnout from Dems.

Early life and education
The second of six siblings, Abrams was born to Robert and Carolyn Abrams in Madison, Wisconsin, and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi.[10][11] In 1989,[12] the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where her parents pursued graduate degrees at Emory University[13] and later became Methodist ministers.[14][15] She attended Avondale High School, graduating as valedictorian,[16] and where she was selected for a Telluride Association Summer Program.[17] While in high school, she was hired as a typist for a congressional campaign, and at age 17, she was hired as a speechwriter based on the edits she had made while typing.[17]
In 1995, Abrams earned a Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies (political science, economics, and sociology) from Spelman College, magna cum laude.[2] While in college, she worked in the youth services department in the office of Atlanta mayor Maynard Jackson.[17] She later interned at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.[17] As a freshman in 1992, Abrams took part in a protest on the steps of the Georgia Capitol, during which she joined in burning the state flag. At that time, Georgia's state flag incorporated the Confederate battle flag, which had been added to the state flag in 1956 as an anti-civil rights movement action.[18][19][20]
As a Harry S. Truman Scholar, Abrams studied public policy at the University of Texas at Austin's LBJ School of Public Affairs, where she earned a Master of Public Affairs degree in 1998. In 1999, she earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.[2]
