"Romney is going to win. He's WAY ahead in the polls and early voting"

So, this coming from my boss. Yes, he is an ultra wing nut conservative. He thinks I am fairly apolitical, because the truth is I would be fired if he really knew me. Yes, that is sad and it sucks, but I cannot give up this job. I have to put food on the table. And so I have to put up with a lot of stupidity. The only good thing is that he pretty much stays out of my business both at work and personally, so I deal, at least for now.

But I was in his office today for something, and he has a Rush Limbaugh article up on the web, or maybe it was Limbaugh's web-site. I really don't know and really don't care. So he says "Romney has got this thing. He is WAY up in the polls". I said "really, I heard it was really close and Obama had the edge in the electoral vote". That's about as much "knowledge" of the situation that I am able to let on. I seriously would be fired if he knew I was posting on Kos. How pathetic. LOL. Its sad but also funny in a way. Funny in that he is so going to have a big let down next week and I will be there to see it.

"NO, Romney is ahead", points to his article that is of course, referencing a gallop poll. Then he adds, "look, Romney is up by seven points in early voting". Now I'm thinking, hmmm, that flies in the face of everything I have heard. Where is Romney up by seven points in early voting, Utah? So I glance at his computer screen. Now its Rush Limbaugh editorializing, apparently, that Romney is up by seven points in early voting. Where the hell did he pull that from?

Then he adds, "and Rush says Obama is now trying to change the election date because of the storm. What Obama really wants is to stay in power, no election, and rule by totalitarian rule". I glanced at another paragraph and it was addressing the election fraud taking place by Democrats, with people "voting multiple times". They cannot, will not admit that there are Democrats in large numbers, so they have to concoct this ridiculous story about wide spread voting fraud.

but since Romney's way ahead, it would be a waste of my time. Guess I'll just stay home.
