He's attempting to clear the 2016 field by cutting Willard off at the knees. I guess the old axiom never let a crisis go to waste applies here. It's quite fun to watch, and the best part is in doing it he's also doing his job.

I guarantee Romney and his staff are apoplectic over Christie today.

And it will get worse tomorrow.

He said he 'couldn't give a damn about the election right now. Let the
people on the ballot worry about that.'

Sometimes he says things that I'm glad about, like that he put
that reporter in her place. He was talking about so many places
they couldnt even land the helicopter and about houses being torn
off their foundations and deposited in the middle of the highway.
Then the person posed the election question. He might have said
Even more if he wasn't so tired, but he looked beat. And yes, he
did speak favorably of Pres. Obama and FEMA.
