The charge of obstructing congress is what Trumps inner circle should be worried about.

Just my opinion. This will not be extremely difficult to prove in court. It comes with a pretty serious prison sentence. As for the more serious charge of seditious conspiracy, I have no idea.

We know many oath keepers have been charged with seditious conspiracy. Key word, conspiracy. Can they tie the oath keepers to people in Trumps inner circle?

Our justice system is slow moving, but it is moving and starting to get serious. Nothing can stop this investigation now. It is going to play out. Many people should be very worried.

It does indicate that the investigation has moved into a new phase.

How difficult will it be in court to prove they attempted to obstruct Congress and prevent them from verifying the electoral votes? Probably not that difficult, although it will likely take some time for the legal process to work through.

Seditious conspiracy may be more difficult to prove. Although if there are documents and first hand accounts, it may have to be adjudicated.

I suspect things will move quicker after the hearings that begin in a few days.

But I would not expect any convictions until after the election. The DOJ is very conscious of not interfering in the election process, most of the time, James Comey and FBI notwithstanding.
