Things that need to be discarded or got rid of

The Washington Post published a series of short pieces the other day by different people on things they felt needed to be got rid of. In the Comments section, people posted their own lists. Here's mine as of that day:

Private health insurance. That absolutely needs to go. Single payer for all, no exceptions. And congress and public officials should be on the same insurance the rest of us are.
Permitless carry, concealed or open. That's a travesty and IMNSHO, not at all what the founders had in mind. Anyone wanting any kind of weaponry should be screened and background checked, should have to take a gun safety course, and should have a license and carry insurance. No exceptions. Stiff fines for a first offense, prison for a second.
Men making decisions about women's bodies. Especially if they are politicians or preachers. That should be self-explanatory.
The Republican Party as currently constituted.

Let's see yours.

It's absurd that Wyoming should have the same number of senators as California. Make the Senate equal in membership to the House of Representatives. That's the only fair way for everyone to be represented.

You might as well rewrite the entire constitution because there are a number of things like this and the electoral college that were meant to keep the more populous states from controlling everything.

Popular vote should determine the President.

And and the senate determined by population or region not 2 senators each state.

I have a running commentary about the 2nd Amendment promised guns but didn't way anything about the bullets.

Arms. Bullets should be $5 each. Some of these people live on the edge of poverty but they have money for 600 bullets every weekend. WTF?

The more "liberal" part of the current GOP will NEED somewhere to go. They can't/won't become Manchin type Dems. Perhaps they will call it "The New Republican Party." We'll see what happens.

Plus private equity buying hospitals, for-profit charter schools, the Federalist Society, and voting machines without paper backups.

The whole Trump family, plus Abbott and DeSantis.

Hey the other stuff is WAY higher on my list, but I think we could win in the reddest districts in Alabama if we promised just to that.
