If the bipartisan committee assembled by McConnell

comes back with only background checks and red flag laws I sincerely hope the Democratic party members on or not on the committee do not accept it as better than nothing. This is the time to ban all assault weapons period. The sane world is with us, take advantage of that while we can.

Or just fund it for a year, or underfund it so nobody gets rejected, everyone gets rubber stamped.

He said he hopes they can come together to fix the problem, which is mental health and school safety. He didn't even mention anything about guns.

the Democratic party will accept. It's been a week and already the responses are "no repukes will support it or start with background checks and red flag laws and go from there." I can only shake my head.
