I think it appeared in WaPo...

Ukraine is losing 100 KIA daily with 500 wounded... daily.

There is a lot of frustration because they can't see the Russians face to face in this new phase of the war. Russia is flattening areas with long range artillery fire and then rolling in over the rubble... and the bodies.

It's a throwback to WW1 and WW2 warfare...

The Ukrainians are counter attacking in some places but I've read articles in Reuters and AlJazeera that seem to say the momentum is shifting.
