I nevet actually broketed a deal, but was involved with lots...

of them. Even sales of partial tanker loads while enroute and trying to find a refinery to get the salt water out of a tankerload on a leaky tanker on a breakup voyage.

And through all that a barrel stayed around a hundred bucks, and gasoline was under $3.

Oil companies are pricing on world spot price which is set by oil futures, and the war raging is driving expectations of more war and lower shipments from Russia and more demand.

They still had to meet payroll during the pandemic and even for those not working.
