$2.38-per-gallon gasoline draws a crowd for Neb. governor

Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts and State Sens. Mike Flood of Norfolk, Lou Ann Linehan of Omaha and John Arch
of La Vista greeted people stopping for gas. They said Republicans could help get gas prices under control.

Ricketts argued for resuming leases to drill on federal land and reviving the Keystone XL pipeline. Flood pushed
for domestic drilling and restraining federal spending.

Neither blamed oil companies for taking record profits. Ricketts defended capitalism and said profits help oil
companies to invest in future energy production.

People are suffering from inflationary costs that President Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress made worse,
said Jessica Shelburn, state director of Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska.

A guy arrived at 5 am to get in line for gas?!?!

It's a no-brainer to pay full price and go straight to the pump rather than wait hours to save a few bucks.

I remember in high school a McDonald's near my school was giving away Big Macs to celebrate for some reason. The line of cars stretched for at least half a mile. Hell, I won't go through a drive thru anywhere if there are more than 6 or 7 cars now! That's why I rarely go to Chic-fil-a even though my wife says they're very fast! I just can't get in a long line.

Refiners have closed down snd you can play all sorts of tricks, but we're still going to pay.
