Attorney/client privilege does not apply if the client and attorney are conspiring to break the law.
Jeff Clark needs to make a deal or go to jail.

Clark cannot claim privilege. His only hope is to take a deal.
If he thinks being raided while wearing pajamas is bad, wait until he has to wear orange every day for years.

(7,715 posts)However, Clark can't assert legal privilege, since his client was the United States, not Donald Trump.
In fact, I saw today a few snippets where Clark took the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination (!) and asserted EXECUTIVE, not legal, privilege.
