What I think Is republicans may just have killed their golden goose. Every 2 years many one issue voters came out to vote republican because they were anti abortion. Now many one issue voters will stay home on election day.

those most affected will be the most motivated to GOTV. So while millions of citizens lose a right which could significantly alter their lives for years/decades to come, the other side won't even be affected except for the personal belief system bouncing around in their heads.
