An apology to DU & The Lincoln Project.

1. Thank you for correcting this. So many of us are so angry, so emotional, that getting it "right"

in terms of who supports us and who does not is intensely critical. They may have conservative leanings still, but I thought they would recognize what is really happening and would not look away.

If today is apology day... well ... I owe one too.

This is to Claire McCaskill, the former Senator from Missouri who lost her seat to Josh Hawley in 2018. Claire is now a frequent guest-commenter on MSNBC and she does a fine job. However a few years ago I said some unkind things because I didn't agree with some of the things she said, and I thought she was filling a slot until they found a "real" journalist.

Well I regret posting that on DU. I don't know if Claire ever reads DU, but I want her to know that I'm sorry and I was wrong! Claire has a lot of interesting stuff to add to the conversation, and I'm GLAD she's a regular guest on my favorite news channel. I look forward to hearing her insights.

Also I hope she decides to go back and run against Josh Hawley in 2024 and whoop his sorry Repuke ass.
