Most Americans think Supreme Court will limit birth control and same-sex marriage

Most Americans fear Supreme Court will limit birth control and same-sex marriage after overturning Roe, poll shows:

Arkansas GOP governor stands by his abortion ban without rape or incest exceptions but vows contraception is 'not going to be touched'

A new poll from CBS News shows more than eight in 10 Americans believe things in the US are going 'badly' in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision

On Friday the high court issued a ruling overturning Roe v. Wade abortion rights

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson defended his state's abortion ban on Meet the Press even when asked about a hypothetical 13-year-old incest victim

A combined 64% of people said abortion should be legal in all or most cases

Fifty-seven percent of respondents to a new CBS News poll said it was 'likely' that the case legalizing same-sex marriage will now be overturned and fifty-five percent said the body could limit contraception.

Elections matter - when the elections are bamboozled - this is what happens.

We, as a party, failed at this slight of hand. The question is - what are we going to do about it.

I personally do not know - there are better policy wonks out there who should be speaking up - NOW!

1) we get 60 pro-choice, pro-birth control, pro-marriage equality Democratic senators who will get past a filibuster and enact those things

or

2) we get just enough Senators to do away with the filibuster to enact those things.

The Party is undecided on whether it wants to wait for 60 senators or a nuked filibuster.

ever have a majority in congress but they routinely do. Whatever deceitful means they use to win elections need to be checked.

I remember hearing during the Obama administration that we had to vote n very high numbers just to get around their cheating and voter suppression. We need to understand 100% that we are always going up against cheaters and strategize from that point.

Party leaders need to tell the public exactly what is needed. If we're not going to get rid of the filibuster for abortion rights, be clear with the public that we need 60 senators to pass an abortion rights bill. Without that, we won't be able to pass abortion rights.

Eliminate the vagueness of "we need to expand our senate majority, and hold the House." Clearly state that we need 60 senators for abortion rights. We need 60 senators for climate change.

I can't help but think about the 2020 Georgia elections. The goal was clearly defined. If we elect these two Democratic candidates to the senate, you will get you $2,000 checks. You will get an expanded child tax credit. You will get more small business loans. Voters gave us that and they got what they were promised. That same level of specificity is needed here.

If we're gonna start making an issue of same-sex marriage, let's add in THAT OTHER ONE, too. You know, Clarence. The one YOU'VE got, you nasty, vindictive fuck.

He wants to make liberals miserable? And he's already stated as much. What can we liberals do to return the favor? And WHEN do our Democrats step up - and go for broke?

It used to be that the courts waited for the cases to reach them instead of announcing what they were going after next. Taking "legislating from the bench" to new heights..

They aren't real thrilled with anything that has happened in the last, ohhh... 246 years. Maybe even further back than that. They claim they want to take it back to 1776. Honestly, I think they want to take us back to the Dark Ages.

The hatred they have for the "others" is beyond disgusting. And they're drooling at how much damage and harm they can bring upon all of us.
