Abortion: What do Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE have in common?

A: They allow pregnancies to be terminated in cases of rape, incest and fetal abnormalities.

And Saudi Arabia has a general exception allowing terminations when a woman's physical or mental health is at risk.

No wonder American Theocrats are worried about Sharia Law.

Much like in the US, where the Bible does not ban abortion, but the church and political leaders do.

Iran's Ayatollas are particularly harsh regarding abortion. Their Guardian Counsel of Ayatollas instituted a new law recently under which abortion falls under the crime of “corruption on earth” and carries the death penalty. https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2022/01/iran-repeal-crippling-new-anti-abortion-law-un-experts

I hope that doesn't give Alito any ideas....
