I was appalled seeing how violent police were to the pro-choice demonstrators. They were peacefully protesting for crying out loud! There was no need for going after them with tear gas and batons! Compare that to the mild resistance they put up against the January 6th insurrectionist. I agree with a lot of other commenters here. Most police officers are right wingers and therefore are eager to attack any protest they perceive as liberal. But right-wing protests are given free reign and are treated with kid gloves. It's infuriating but I don't know what we can do about it.
