In many states, you would be correct.

It’s surprising when something like this happens, how many people think it’s okay to touch strangers without their consent.

Kinda weird for a liberal group, but things like throwing milkshakes, pies in the face, etc., there are a lot of people here who are on board with a wide range of unwanted touching.

But it's tough in NY. Even the lowest grade of assault requires physical injury:

120.00 Assault in the third degree.

A person is guilty of assault in the third degree when:

1. With intent to cause physical injury to another person, he causes
such injury to such person or to a third person; or

2. He recklessly causes physical injury to another person; or

3. With criminal negligence, he causes physical injury to another
person by means of a deadly weapon or a dangerous instrument.

Assault in the third degree is a class A misdemeanor.

In general, it’s a good idea not to touch other people without their permission.

In some states, it is an offense to touch another person without their consent for the purpose of causing offense or alarm.

The relevant NY statute requires physical injury.

1. It’s clearly ludicrously exaggerated by Rudy. Ought to be rejected by prosecutors.
2. Don’t touch people, even if you’re mad at them. ESPECIALLY if you’re mad at them.

I'm thinking about the FBI/DOJ raid on his digs a year ago, posted here sometime last week.

Thinking about what became of the searching for electronic devices which presumably would have evidence of J6 or involvment of other unrelated matters? I haven't seen anything more about it or Rudy sightings. I guess we have one now?

New Yorkers need to get out and vote. You don't want a Giuliani running your state.

I was just wondering out loud and cuz I want that asshole bankrupted and locked up.

Reality check says, it ain't gonna happen. Then last week, someone posted a story of an FBI search of his home which turned out to have occurred a year or so ago. The story prompted questions (in my mind) of possible recent sightings. T

hat his son is running for office in NY begs the question of campaign fund raising grift which I think is illegal.

But then again, define "illegal". It would just be illegal for you or I, but not for him.
