Almost everything I like about AL has to do with Nature. It's a lot harder to like the people/society here.

I'm ready to move. I have nothing but disgust for it now.

Alabama is beyond redemption. I just hope the GOP doesn't give away the state retirement money to their buddies to "manage". One good thing about this godforsaken state is the teacher retirement system. Odd but it's pretty good. The GOP good ol boys see that money and have been trying to figure out how to raid it for a long time. One day they will succeed.

We're not much better, but we have Atlanta, and if we can draw in enough good people from surrounding states, we can make this state true blue.

Also Virginia where she is from.

Atlanta is great except for the traffic! But that's any large city I suppose
