coaches preying on students is grooming of the worst order. who doubts for a second there are

penalties imposed on players who do not go along with this grooming, social pressure, being kept out of games, hazed more than normal. the religionists are nasty and vindictive to the max

We had a new coach before the season began. I have no idea what happened there, but there were lots of parents involved.

Some of the coaches were great and the teams reflected the positive attitude. Some of the coaches were frightening monsters. I got the feeling they went into coaching just so they could torture the boys. I pity their wives

This is a public high school, and it is coercive whether or not there are penalties imposed for non-participation.
