every time I see that one battle scene in LOTR where the king is going down the line, making contact with each of his soldiers, I think--if our dear leaders had to do that, be right there at the front of the battle, we wouldn't have any.

I just spent a TON of time changing the graphic and then it didn't work, so I'm
not gonna do it again.

I wanted to put ALL the "ranking" pieces (rooks, knights, bishops, queens and
kings) in the center rows face-to-face and have the pawns well back in the
distant rows -- drinking beers/mead/etc -- black-and-white together if possible.

I thought you said the dots were designed to lead people to the punchline or something like that.
